Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Activity of the Police of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, candidate of law sciences, major of police Mariana Kachynska was invited as a speaker to participate in the training on “Public Order and Crowd Management” held in Katowice (Poland).

The event was organized by the Police School in Katowice (Poland) and the Highest Institute for Political Science and Domestic Security in Lisbon (Portugal) and conducted as a part of the program for exchange of experience between CEPOL law enforcement officers. 25 law enforcement officers from 20 European Union countries took part in it. Experts were invited from Belgium, Holland, Germany, Portugal, Ukraine and Poland.

During the training, the participants considered the issues of planning, providing, carrying out mass events, special attention was paid to crowd management issue, namely to the conduction of depression of tension and aggression, not by force methods.

Mariana Kachynska conducted a lesson on the theme “Organization and Holding of Mass Events during Football Matches”, paid attention to the positive experience of carrying out such measures by law enforcement agencies of Ukraine during the “Euro 2012”.
