 Muay Thai World Championship is held in Bangkok, Thailand. Representatives of more than 50 countries take part in it.
Ukrainian national team, which includes officers of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, showed high results and adequately presented the state on the global level. Lecturer of special physical training chair of the faculty of training specialists of public order senior lieutenant of police Dmitriy Konstantinov won the final fight in the weight category 71 kg. It was a professional fight against the boxer from Thailand. Dmitriy Konstantinov became a world champion on WKN version winning the fight premature in the third round.

Special attention is focused on the aesthetic education of youth at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. There is a tradition among cadets and students of visiting theater institutions of the city. This time pupils from patronage institutions were attracted to this wonderful world of art.
March 22, 2012 celebrations on the occasion of opening the "Green Room" and training courtroom were held in the training and scientific institute of law and mass communications of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
Recently, a ceremony of awarding the winners of City Competition of Sports and Recreational Work was held in Kharkiv City Council by the results of 2011. The ceremony was held by the Deputy Mayor on the issues of family, youth, sports and Euro-2012 Aleksander Popov.
March 18, 2012 there was a competition on hand-to-hand fight, devoted to the Day of Internal Troops of Ukraine, which attracted over 100 participants - representatives of defense and law enforcement agencies. Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was represented by the team of 20 cadets.
As you know, cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs spend all their free time usefully, and the University's staff helps to make their leisure interesting and full of various cultural events and excursions.
Annually a contest "Student's Spring" is conducted under the auspices of Kharkiv mayor. Thus, March 15, 2012 there was a gala concert of the best numbers among higher educational establishments of Kharkiv. Having passed successfully the qualifying round, cadets and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs worthily represented their establishment. Having won prizes they proved once again that their University was among the best!
March 16, 2012 there was a meeting of employees of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who drive personal or University's vehicles, with senior inspector of traffic police union of Kharkiv City Police major of police Oleg Viktorovich Nikonenko.
Development of cooperation in educational and scientific spheres is extremely important direction of activity at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Special attention is focused on improving vocational work with young people for further training of qualified specialists. It is secondary schools provide the largest stream of students for the University and future cadets and students must have not only complete information about admission and study at the University but excellent knowledge and physical training to continue to adapt and be ready to serve Ukrainian people.
