Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, in cooperation with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Eastern Europe, has developed a set of training materials for National police officers. This set includes:

-        6 training videos on personal safety of police officers in the process of interaction with representatives of high-risk groups for HIV infection and people who use drugs and psychoactive substances:

-        e-learning course aimed at improving the effectiveness of prevention of the use of psychoactive and narcotic substances, reducing the number of crimes committed by drug users by creating mechanisms to inform them about targeted services. https://kursant.univd.edu.ua/course/view.php?id=1123

The team that worked on the materials includes: Faculty №1 (Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Expertise and Pre-Medical Training, MA/BA Students and Cadets), Research Lab on Crime Enforcement, Public Relations Department, Medical Department of the University.

This set is a continuation of cooperation between Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the Personnel Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Department for Combating Drug Crime of the National Police of Ukraine, and the Regional Program Office of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Eastern Europe on issues related to combating drug trafficking, scientific and legislative support of this process.
