Maryna Petchenko, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Person in Charge of gender issues at Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in an online training on the practical and gender aspects of the constitutional complaint: "Constitutional complaint as an instrument of protection against discrimination". The event was implemented within the framework of the "Support to the Protection of Human Rights through Improving Access to Constitutional Justice" project of the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine.
The training included the following thematic blocks: theory and constitutional practice (equality: principle and law; equality and non-discrimination: egalitarian concepts of modern constitutionalism; dignity and non-discrimination; practical dimension of the right to equality); equality: gender dimension (gender and power: the gender constitutionalism concept; multidimensionality of gender equality; gender aspect of the right to equality; gender and society: how can I influence); practice of constitutional proceedings (constitutional complaint admissibility: what to know; constitutional complaint argumentation; proceedings in the Constitutional Court of Ukraine and public interest).
According to the results of the successfully completed training, Maryna Petchenko received a certificate of participation.
The acquired knowledge will be used to promote a culture of gender equality in the college and prevent discrimination at all levels.
