Professors of the Department of Legal Support of Economic Activity of the Faculty № 6 Olha Hetmanets and Yulia Kyrychenko took part in a round table on "Constitution of Ukraine: history, modernity, prospects", which took place at the Coworking Center of Kharkiv National Economic University named after Semen Kuznets and was dedicated to 25th anniversary of the Constitution of Ukraine.
During the round table, topical issues of the current state were considered and prospects for the development of Ukrainian constitutionalism were identified. Olga Hetmanets' report was devoted to the problems of financial security in the constitutional principles of the state as a factor in the stable development of economic relations. In her report, Yulia Kyrychenko defined the constitutional and legal bases of the organization and activity of local self-government bodies in Ukraine, emphasizing that the adoption of the Constitution of Ukraine in 1996 marked the beginning of a new period in the
establishment of the local self-government institution which acquired constitutional status and became one of the foundations of the constitutional order of Ukraine.
As a result of the exchange of views and scientific achievements, the participants of the round table came to the conclusion that the current Constitution of Ukraine needs changes that must be balanced, systematic and reasoned.
