Representatives of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Pre-Trial Investigation of the Faculty No.1 of KhNUIA Vitalii Romaniuk and Olena Zavorina joined the expert discussion of possible changes to the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine regarding cases related to domestic violence.

During the discussion with the participation of judges, police officers, prosecutors, lawyers, human rights organizations, People’s Deputies and representatives of higher education institutions, topical issues were discussed and changes in criminal procedure legislation that could improve the situation of victims of domestic violence crimes were proposed.

The event was held in the format of a closed expert discussion in the format of ZOOM-conference.
