Oleksii Serdiuk, Deputy Head of the Research Laboratory on Crime Enforcement of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, participated in the 24-hour Conference on Global Organized Crime and made a report “30 years of fighting organised crime in Ukraine: mistakes and lessons”.

The conference was held around the clock to bring together scientists and practitioners from the whole world, allowing them to make reports in their hour zone, submit articles, videos, monographs and presentations, discuss the latest challenges and the most painful problems.

The virtual format made it possible for scientists to compensate for an absence of meetings because of the pandemic COVID-19. More than 200 speakers from 45 countries took part in the event. The conference streaming lasted for 4 parallel 24-hour streams.
