Oleksandr Bakumov, a People’s Deputy of Ukraine and a member of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Supervisory Board, met with students of specialized courses for police officers assigned to police stations of united territorial communities.

During the meeting, the MP noted that the project "Community Police Officer", implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, is very timely and necessary, because a united territorial community police officer is one who should permanently contact with the community and protect its law and order security interests.

Oleksandr Bakumov also touched upon the work of the parliament and told about the bills, currently being considered in the Verkhovna Rada, about the issues and bills that the subcommittee on criminal law and crime prevention of the Committee on Law Enforcement headed by him is working at.
