Olena Shakhova, Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology and Psychology, Candidate of Biological Sciences conducted a regular online seminar for students-psychologists of the Faculty № 6 in the discipline “Evolution, Anatomy and Physiology of the Central Nervous System" on the topic "Structure and Functions of the Spinal Cord” on the Zoom platform.

Students, completing practical tasks in the discipline in workbooks based on the methodological development of Senior Lecturer of the Department Larysa Solokhina, mastered the theoretical knowledge they had received while watching video lectures on the discipline. The students also analyzed the diagram of the structure of the gray and white matter of the spinal cord, its reflex, and conductive functions; found out how conditioned reflexes are formed, which are the basis for a person's “fine adaptation” to the environment.
