Artem Bilousov, Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 1, held a meeting of the scientific circle, in which fourth-year cadets of the Faculty № 1 participated. The topic of discussion: «Problems of understanding and correct translation of different dialects of English-speaking countries».

Problems of translation and features of English dialects of such countries as the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and four parts of Great Britain (Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland) were considered. The cadets talked about the formation of dialectisms in the English language, their origin, features and varieties.
Acquaintance with English dialects is useful for studying the historical past of the language space, development of literary norm, social and professional languages.
