The training was conducted by Mark Roorda, Senior Adviser on International Criminal Investigation of the European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine, and Michal Vyvoda, Senior Adviser on OSINT of the European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine.

University student took part in cybersecurity conferences

The first-year student of the Faculty No. 6 Oleksandr Zavodnyi, who is studying in the specialty "Cybersecurity and Information Protection", took part in two international scientific online events - the II International Scientific and Practical Conference "European Congress of Scientific Research" (Barcelona) and the VII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Global Science. Prospects and Innovations" (Liverpool).

Meeting of the scientific circle with the participation of a judge

The Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of theFaculty No. 1 held a regular meeting of the scientific club on the topic "Application of the European Court of Human Rights Case Law in Criminal Proceedings". The event was attended by cadets of Faculties No. 1, 4 and academic staff. Students of the Faculty No. 2 joined the meeting online.

The regular online meeting was devoted to the issues of students' research work. The head of the group, Associate Professor Volodymyr Tulupov, drew the attention of the group to the observance of the principles of academic integrity, and together they considered the directions of research.

Nataliia Kobylko, Associate Professor of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, Faculty № 6, Candidate of Philology, took part in the All-Ukrainian Internet Conference of Students, Postgraduates and Young Scientists, organized by Zaporizhzhia National University.

Meeting of the Organizing Committee of the Competition of Scientific Works of Applicants for the First (Bachelor's) Level of Higher Education of Higher Education Institutions Belonging to the Ministry of Internal Affairs

The event was opened by Valerii Sokurenko, Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who emphasized the importance of holding the competition under martial law. The Rector emphasized the interest of higher education students in conducting scientific research, as evidenced by the submission of 126 scientific papers in 16 nominations for the second round of the competition.

Participation in the IX International Student Summit

Inna Shalova, a 1st year master's student of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, who is studying in the specialty "Law Enforcement" (supervisor - Associate Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines Svitlana Vyhaniailo), made a presentation on "Information Wars in Modern Conditions" at the summit "Human Rights in the Conditions of Martial Law and Modern Globalization Challenges".

Meeting of the scientific circle on gender equality

Tetiana Ponomarenko, the head of Veritas scientific club at the Department of Humanities of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, held a class on the topic "Formation of gender culture of future law enforcement officers in the context of Euro-Atlantic integration". She emphasized that gender equality is one of the principles of human rights, the basis for the democratic development of states and the world community.

Participation of representatives of KhNUIA in the round table "Procedural and forensic aspects of war crimes investigation"

The event was held at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, which brought together scientists, adjuncts, graduate students, practitioners of judicial and law enforcement agencies to discuss theoretical and practical problems of investigating war crimes, summarizing scientific and practical experience.
