The investigators of the State Bureau of Investigations work on the territory of the university. Urgent investigative actions are being carried out with the participation of the dean of the faculty № 1 police colonel Oleksandr Muzychuk. The management of the university facilitates the work of operatives and investigators to establish the objective circumstances of the event. According to the preliminary data of the investigation, the illegal actions of the dean are not related to the performance of his functional duties and the activities of the university.
According to Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and shall not be subjected to criminal punishment until his or her guilt is proved through legal procedure and established by a court verdict of guilty.
