Online tour of Khortytsia

Viktoriia Pertseva, Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Studies of the Faculty No. 2 organized an online tour to Khortytsia for the cadets of her curatorial group! The cadets had a unique opportunity to meet the best guides of the Khortytsia National Reserve for free and without leaving home, comfortably sitting at the screens.

The theme of the tour was “House of the Chief Ataman in the Zaporozhian Sich”.
After watching a nearly 20-minute tour, the cadets got acquainted with the life of the Chief Ataman of the Zaporozhian Sich, in particular, saw a pail (barrel for drinks), stove, clothes, numerous chests, a large bed with an unusual blanket. In addition, the house presented weapons, attributes of power Chief Ataman. The cadets also learned about the culture of coffee consumption in the Sich.
