Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, PhD in Law, Associate Professor, Police Major Oleksii Salmanov took part in the Cybercrime training course from the European Union Agency for the Training of Law Enforcement Officers (LEED CEPOL) as part of the TOPCOP project.

Oleksandr Radchenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law of the Faculty No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in an online lecture on "CCJE Opinion "Moving Forward: the Use of Assistive Technology in Judicial Proceedings" of December 1, 2023 No. 26 (2023) Lecture 1: Judge and Artificial Intelligence: Advantages, Challenges and Threats" organized by the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.

First-year students of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Daria Kulak and Bohdan Mulyi together with representatives of one of the volunteer centers in Sumy weaved camouflage nets.

Tetiana Fomina, Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took an online course "International Humanitarian Law for Public Servants" on the Prometheus platform.

At the Institute of Postgraduate Education of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a binary practical training session on special physical training was organized for students of primary professional training courses.

The Preparatory Department of the Faculty No. 6 held a regular online meeting with applicants, to which high school students, their parents and heads of several secondary education institutions in the cities of Sumy and Kharkiv, as well as Krasnohrad, Bohodukhiv, Lozova districts and Pervomaisk city territorial community of Kharkiv region were invited. The event was attended by 59 people.

During the meeting issues related to the organization of the implementation of the Scientific Work Plan of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine for 2024 were discussed. Particular attention was paid to conducting scientific events, participating in scientific work competitions, identifying priority areas of scientific research, the work of scientific professional publications, etc.

Pavlo Mitrukhov, Head of the Scientific Club of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities and Crime Solving of the Faculty No. 2, together with Associate Professor Iryna Shynkarenko and Head of the Department Serhii Kozachenko, held a regular meeting of the scientific club.

In order to improve her professional skills, Iryna Kazanchuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Process of the Faculty No. 1, took part in an online course on "Internet Safety in Time of War" organized by the NGO MINZMIN on the Prometheus platform.

The morning of January 18, 2023, was a tragic day for the entire country - a SES helicopter carrying the top leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, headed by the head of the department, Denys Monastyrskyi, crashed in Brovary.
