Unfortunately, today Ukraine is at war and not everyone can celebrate the holidays with their families. But despite all the hardships, we are all united by the desire to be happy, successful, independent, live in peace and harmony, and to win the victory over the enemy. The cadets and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs wish you happy New Year's holidays.

The authors of the publication - applicants for higher education (members and leader of the folk vocal group "Kryla" Tetiana Bulat) - took part in the national literary competition "Ukrainian Language - the Language of Unity". The purpose of the event is to raise the prestige of the Ukrainian language and literature among the younger generation, to improve the level of general language culture, to foster a sense of pride in one's nation and love for one's native land.

During the Christmas and New Year holidays, the cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs are on duty to ensure public safety and order in all cities where the university is located. Vice-Rector Serhii Bortnyk conducted a briefing with the personnel before the service.

The "Unconquered Fury" orchestra of the Main Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi region presented a festive greeting program to the staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on the occasion of Christmas and New Year holidays in Kamianets-Podilskyi.

The team of the public organization "Charitable Foundation DOLONKY MYRU" in Kharkiv Kharkiv and its director Dmytro Horiachkovskyi honored Yevheniia Hladkova, a leading researcher at the Research Laboratory on the Issues of Psychological Support of Law Enforcement Activity at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Representatives of the Plast scouting organization in Kamianets-Podilskyi congratulated the staff and cadets of the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on the New Year holidays and showed a nativity scene.

The scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Fundamental and Legal Disciplines of the Faculty No. 6, Associate Professor Stanislav Pevko and Lecturer Kseniia Hurtova, held a final meeting of the scientific club of the Department of Fundamental and Legal Disciplines of the Faculty No. 6. The achievements and accomplishments of the club in 2023 were analyzed and the directions of further activities were discussed.

The regular meeting of the scientific club of the Department of Humanities of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA was devoted to the study of the main traditions and symbols of the Christmas holiday. In her introductory remarks, Professor Nadiia Demydenko focused on the work of Ivan Ohiienko "Pre-Christian Beliefs of the Ukrainian People" (1965).
