In honor of the memory of the poet Taras Shevchenko, a competition "Shevchenko readings" was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, with the participation of cadets and students. The competition was attended by teams of the faculties №№ 1–4, 6, which competed in the nominations "Best reciter of works of the great Kobzar" and "Original genre".

The great poet lives in his works. His image, thoughts and feelings, aspirations and ideals appear before us first of all from what he wrote, what he did for his people. Taras Shevchenko, our Great Kobzar, belongs to such luminous poets.

Honouring the creative heritage of Taras Shevchenko, for the tenth year in a row, representatives of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs take part in the regional selection contest of readers dedicated to Taras Shevchenko, which is held with the support of the Sumy Regional State Administration.

Every year on March 9, Ukraine celebrates the date of birth of the poet Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko, who became the main Ukrainian Prophet and national symbol. He is called the forerunner of a new life, a titan of the spirit who mourned the fate of his native people and left his descendants a spiritual testament passed down from generation to generation, from generation to generation.

A meeting of the cadets` scientific group of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on the topic "Lexical and grammatical difficulties in writing a scientific article" was held.
