Celebrations dedicated to the anniversary of the outstanding Ukrainian woman took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in the cultural and educational center of the faculty № 2. Lesia Ukrainka (Larysa Petrivna Kosach) was born on February 25, 150 years ago. Without exaggeration, she is one of the most prominent figures in the history of Ukrainian culture, a mystical writer, intellectual, word сreator, fragile in body, but surprisingly strong in spirit, a talented pianist, a seascape painter who was blessed by God.

An important issue in resisting the occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopil is the protection of historical truth, in particular, regarding the participation of Ukrainians in the Crimean or Eastern War of 1853-1856. The museum lecture "Cossacks-Plastuns and other Ukrainian heroes of the Crimean war of 1853-1856" is devoted to this, and was held by the director of the museum of KhNUIA Andrii Prokhorov for cadets and students of all faculties.

Ten participants of the second round of the second Open Internet Olympiad of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on information security "Young CyberErudite" for graduates of general secondary education institutions of Ukraine in 2021 have been identified.

Nataliia Horobets, Professor of the Department of Law at Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and Tsvitana Baranova, a leading specialist, held an online career guidance meeting with 11-A class students of CI Sumy Comprehensive School № 23 of Sumy on the topic "Certainty in the profession of the future applicant".

Consultants of the Legal Clinic of KhNUIA hold weekly field visits of citizens under the guidance of teachers-curators. After receiving assignments during the preparation of consultations, teachers-curators together with students and cadets discussed the ways to solve problems and specify which regulations should be used.

The Department of Ukrainian Studies of the Faculty № 2 KhNUIA held a round table "Lesia Ukrainka: fate, era, creativity." Opening the meeting, the head of the circle Olena Overchuk emphasized the role of the great Ukrainian poetess, playwright, translator, scientist, public figure in Ukrainian and world culture.

The University Library presents a book-illustrative exposition "Crimea: seven years in captivity". The exposition contains periodicals and photos of the event in February 2014.

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Faculty № 6, Candidate of Philological Sciences Nataliia Kobylko took part in pedagogical workshops within the framework of the XVIII International School-Seminar "Modern Pedagogical Technologies in Education".
