On the occasion of the Constitution Day of Ukraine and the Youth Day, the Kryla vocal group of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the Vocal Inside Out group prepared a concert for young people from the village of Pishchane, Kremenchug district, Poltava region.

Serhii Bortnyk, Vice-Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, employees, cadets and students of the University laid flowers to the monument of Independence of Ukraine on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of Ukraine.

The current Constitution of Ukraine has passed a difficult path of formation and development, evolving in the context of the genesis of domestic Constitutional Law.  It became the pinnacle, the most significant achievement of Ukrainian theory and practice of constitutionalism.

On the eve of the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of Ukraine, the People's Deputy of Ukraine of four convocations, Academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, First Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Colonel-General of Police Oleksandr Markovych Bandurka.shared his memories of the Basic Law of
our state.

Employees, cadets and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in a flashmob "Kharkiv is cool!", which took place on the occasion of Youth Day on Freedom Square. On the same day, a holiday concert was held, in which famous music groups took part.

The first-year cadets of the faculty № 3 and the section of special physical training together with the management of the faculty went on a hike to the Suvorov’s spring. The event is timed to the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of Ukraine. The route starts from the city of Chuhuiv.

The team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in swimming competitions, which took place in Kharkiv. According to the results of the performance, the 4th year cadet of the Faculty No. 4 Serhii Blanutsa took the first place in the distance of 500 m.

25 years ago, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, expressing the sovereign will of the citizens of the state, adopted the Constitution of Ukraine. The adoption of the Basic Law consolidated the legal basis of independent Ukraine, its sovereignty and territorial integrity, became an important step in ensuring human and civil rights, and further enhanced the country's international prestige. On the occasion of the anniversary of the Constitution of Ukraine, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted ceremonial events, which were opened by the Rector of the University, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko.

Solemn events were held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on the occasion of the unveiling of a memorial tablet in memory of a university graduate who died in the east of Ukraine, deputy commander of the regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine “Azov” Senior Lieutenant Dmytro Pruhlo.

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of Ukraine, employees of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs received awards. During the celebrations, Oleksandr Bakumov and Victoria Kinzburska, Deputies of Ukraine, presented a Diploma of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to Colonel Vladyslav Shendryk, Head of the Department of Operational Investigation and Crimes
Investigation, Faculty 2, for significant personal achievements in professional activities, ensuring state policy in education and science.
