Nataliia Krasnova, a senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages of Faculty № 1 and Valentyna Kochyna, a lecturer of the same department, together with Nataliia Horbach, a prosecutor of the department of representation of interests of the state in the budget sphere of management of representation of interests of the state in the court of Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office, conducted the second part of a binary lesson entitled “Preventing and Counteracting Domestic Violence. Legal and Social Aspects” for cadets of Group 301 of Faculty №2.

The prosecutor discussed with the cadets the problem of domestic violence (physical and psychological), which exists in all social groups, regardless of education and social status. Nataliia Horbach noted that many cases remain unknown because the victims do not contact the police.

It was concluded that the lack of legal awareness of victims of domestic violence is due to the economic situation and financial situation of each individual family, the peculiarities of the upbringing of persons who commit acts of violence against their family members.
