The Department for Training of Foreign Citizens is a structural subdivision of the Faculty No. 6 “Law and Mass Communications” of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The department was established in 2016.
The main areas of work of the department:
- organization of involvement of young people from foreign countries for education;
- execution and issuance of “Invitations” to study for legal entities and individuals;
- admission of foreigners and organization of their education in basic specialties;
- organization of the educational process for foreigners who are going to enter higher educational establishments of Ukraine;
- educational work;
- execution of documents confirming the legality of the stay of foreign students within the territory of Ukraine;
- conduction of activities on domestic, educational and legal adaptation of foreign students.
The Department is headed by Tsapko Tamara Petrivna, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor. The Department employs five specialists: Hunina Karyna Vitaliivna, Aleksieieva Olha Yevheniivna, Serhiienko Oksana Oleksandrivna, Mamedov Vasif Ahmed ohly, Kolesnik Yuliia Ivanivna.
Students - citizens of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Tajikistan study at the university. A total of 256 full-time and part-time students majoring in “Law”, “Psychology”, “Law-Enforcement Activity”, “Cyber Security”, “Finance, Banking and Insurance”.
