Secretariat of the Academic Council is a structural unit, subordinated to the First Vice-Rector, who ensures the activity of the Academic and Supervisory Councils of the University.

The main tasks of the Secretariat of the Academic Council are preparation of perspective and current working plans of the Academic and Supervisory Councils of the University, decisions briefing to the Labor Collective and the workforce, control over compliance with decisions made by the Academic Council, preparation of materials for consideration by the Academic Council about conferment of academic ranks such as Professor, Associate Professor and Senior Researcher to the University’s scientific and pedagogical staff, preparation of materials on research proposals and teaching and methodological works by University staff for participation in prizes competitions, recommendations for printing monographs, textbooks and teaching aids and their further application in the teaching process, etc.
