A panel discussion on effective communication within the # UN75 initiative took place at the language center of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Representatives of the university, Sumy branch of KhNUIA, UN agencies in Ukraine participated in it with the help of online communication.
The representatives of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Anna Omelchuk, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Serhiy Veligodsky, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) Serhiy Shtukarin, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Vartan Muradyan greeted the participants and actively participated in the discussion.
The speakers of the event were the 2nd year cadets of the faculty № 3 Andriy Sokolov, Oleksandr Korostychenko, Danylo Gerasimov, Ruslan Panchenko and the 3rd year cadet of the faculty № 2 Anastasia Dorosh. The discussion was moderated by the 4th year cadet of the faculty № 1 Natalia Rastorgueva.
During the discussion they considered issues of law enforcement ensuring in the context of the coronary crisis, improving police cooperation during the COVID-19 pandemic, prospects for UN development, the priority areas for international police cooperation and human and civil rights, taking into account today's challenges.
