Vitalii Naida, Senior Police Lieutenant, Master's cadet of the Faculty No. 1 became the winner of the municipal stage of the competition “Young Man of the Year” in the category “Students (cadets) of higher educational establishments of III-IV levels of accreditation”.

According to the results of the municipal stage of the competition, 10 winners and 20 laureates were traditionally determined in each of ten nominations. Ihor Terekhov, the First Deputy Mayor of Kharkiv City conducted the award ceremony.

“You are a young elite and the future of our city is in your hands. I want to congratulate you on behalf of our mayor Hennadii Adolfovych Kernes. I am sure that this award is just the start for even greater victories in your future”, said Ihor Terekhov. The first vice-mayor handed over certificates and Thanks of the mayor to young people.

At the initiative of Kharkiv Mayor Hennadii Kernes, the winners and laureates of the competition “Young Man of the Year” have been receiving cash prizes in the amount of UAH 5,000 and UAH 3,000, respectively since 2018.

The competition was held in ten nominations: “Students of general secondary education”, “Students of vocational (technical) education”, “Students of higher educational establishments of I-II levels of accreditation”, “Students (cadets) of higher educational establishments of III-IV levels of accreditation”, “Scientific activity”, “Culture and art”, “Physical culture and sports”, “Activity in the field of production, business”, “Activity in the non-productive sphere” and “Public activity”.
