Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty No.1, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor Dmytro Slynko and Professor of the same department, Major of Police, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor Lidiia Kalienichenko completed the course on the online platform Prometheus on “I know gender”.

During the first module of the course, Dmytro Slynko and Lidiia Kalienichenko were acquainted with basic gender definitions such as sex, gender, gender identity, sexuality and sexual orientation. The participants also analyzed the components of gender construction: gender norms, gender socialization, gender division of labor, gender roles, gender inequality, gender stereotypes.

During the second module, human rights elements concerning women: the Commission on the Status of Women (CWS), the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), the UN Declaration on the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Beijing Declaration and Beijing Platform for Action were analyzed.

During the training, Dmytro Slynko and Lidiia Kalienichenko completed all analytical exercises successfully, passed testing and received the appropriate certificates.
