An unscheduled thematic online meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Police Activity and Public Administration of the Faculty No.3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs dedicated to the 26th anniversary of the university founding was held.
Volodymyr Urban, the 2nd-year cadet of the Faculty No.1, delivered a report on the history of the university, the significant dates of its development and described the areas of scientific achievements of prominent scientists briefly.
Olena Yelisieieva, the Secretary of the Scientific Circle, the 2nd-year cadet of the Faculty No.1, told about the defining role of Kharkiv Police University in the system of higher education institutions regarding the training of highly qualified employees for the National Police.
Vadym Seliukov, the Head of the Scientific Circle, the Associate Professor of the Department of Police Activity and Public Administration of the Faculty No.3, focused on the quarantine restrictions caused by the COVID-19 epidemic. He told about the importance of observing social distances and personal hygiene rules both in everyday life and in the line of duty.
The relevance of the topics of cadets' future research was also discussed, theses with proposals for participation in the next cadet conferences were approved.
