On the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language and in order to establish the state status of the Ukrainian language, raise its prestige among young people, foster respect for the culture and traditions of the Ukrainian people, improve language education in Ukraine, identify creatively gifted youth, develop its potential, the first stage of the XXII International Competition for Ukrainian Language Experts named after Petro Yatsyk took place at Kharkiv National University of internal Affairs (http://univd.edu.ua/uk/news/11202).
