Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs has launched the “School of Course Officers” - a new form of work for heads of educational courses of Faculties, the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Sumy Branch.

The education program provides for the study of topics in the educational process, personnel, psychological, educational work, service organization, internal regulations, material, food and medical support, fire safety, anti-corruption legislation, service discipline, combating drug addiction, bullying and discrimination.

Classes will be conducted by vice-rectors of the university, heads of relevant departments and the most experienced scientific and pedagogical staff.

The first lesson was conducted by Vice-Rector Police Colonel Serhii Bortnyk, who, having significant personal experience in higher education institutions and units of the National Police of Ukraine, analyzed the legal status of course heads in higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and their role in training highly qualified law enforcement officers.

Serhii Myklaiovych emphasized that, first of all, they should be an example of the fulfillment of official duties and discipline, for this they need to constantly work on self-improvement, persistently master the relevant regulatory legal acts, scientific knowledge and study methodological developments.
