Celebrations were held on the occasion of graduation of Master students of faculties № 1 and № 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. 29 master's degree graduates majoring in Law and Law Enforcement will serve in the territorial bodies of the National Police in Donetsk, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson and other regions of Ukraine.

Those present observed a minute of silence in memory of the defenders of Ukraine who died defending the freedom and independence of our state.

Diplomas were awarded. The event was attended by the Rector of the University, General of Police of the Third Rank Valerii Sokurenko, Vice-Rectors of the University, Police Colonel Serhii Bortnyk, Mykhailo Burdin, Leonid Mohilevskyi and Deans of the Faculties. Five graduates received diplomas with honors: Yaroslava Dolynna and Yevheniia Semeniuk, who studied at the Faculty № 1, Oleksandr Shaturskyi, Maryna Martynchuk and Daria Kravets - graduates of the Faculty № 3.
Addressing the youth, the rector of the university Valerii Sokurenko said: “Today you are going to work for the National Police with the baggage of knowledge and skills. Your perseverance, your maximalism are needed by our citizens, our state more than ever. All the best to you! Be real, serve well and reach the heights of your career! In a good way! Serve and work so that you are respected by the people and protected by the Lord God! Glory to Ukraine!"
On behalf of the graduates, senior police lieutenant Vira Nazarko thanked the management and staff of the university for the knowledge and experience gained during their studies and assured that they will always remember the motto “Knowledge. Law. Honor" and will worthily carry the title of a graduate of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
This day became special for Daryna Kravets, who, together with her diploma with honors, received an offer of a hand and heart from her lover, Dmytro Kluban, an officer of the State Border Guard Service. The girl agreed, but this act came as a real surprise to her. Daryna admitted that she had known Dmytro for a long time, appreciated him for his courage, reliability, attentive attitude and without hesitation agreed to the offer. Lovers received many congratulations and wishes of good luck.
The festivities ended with a performance by amateur artists.
