The Department of Constitutional and International Law of the Faculty №4, headed by Doctor of Law, Associate Professor, Police Lieutenant Colonel Mykola Marchuk, visited the scientific library of KhNUIA to view the presentation of new collections of literature to the library fund of the university. Teachers of the department also joined the action “Printed or electronic edition – a gift to the university library!” and presented the latest edition:

The textbook addresses key issues of human rights in international law, guarantees of their observance and protection (international legal approaches to understanding human rights, universal and regional systems of international human rights protection, activities of international human rights NGOs, international legal regulation of human rights in law enforcement activities and their protection during armed conflicts, international protection against torture and other ill-treatment, international protection of the rights of vulnerable groups, and restrictions on human rights and freedoms in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic). The presentation of the material is based on current international legal acts and decisions of international judicial bodies.

The textbook can be used by students of all levels of higher education – students, cadets, audiences, masters, graduate students, associate professors, as well as lectors, scientists, law enforcement officers and anyone interested in human rights.
