Solemn events dedicated to the results of the activities of the Public Organization Physical Culture and Sports Club “Univer-Dynamo” of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs for 2021 took place.

The event was attended by the Rector of University, Police General of the Third Rank Valerii Sokurenko, First Vice-Rector Colonel Dmytro Shvets, Chairman of the Board of NGO “Univer-Dynamo” Vice-Rector, Police Colonel Serhii Bortnyk, Deputy Chairman of the Board of NGO “Univer-Dynamo” Vice-Rector Anatolii Klochko, deans of faculties, scientific and academic staff of the Department of Tactical Special and Physical Training of the Faculty № 3, athletes of the university – members of national teams, etc.

The meeting was opened by the Rector of university, who noted that much attention is paid to university sports, as good physical training is a mandatory component in the process of training police officers. Every year, cadets and students of university demonstrate high achievements in various sports, worthily representing our state and university. This year, following the results of the team championship of complex competitions in non-Olympic sports under the program “Dynamiada 2021” among the national teams of territorial organizations of the society, as well as national teams of higher education institutions belonging to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took first place. The Cup and the Diploma of the Rector of University were presented by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Chairman of the FCS “Dynamo” of Ukraine Denys Monastyrskyi on November 16 during the conference of the Sports Association “Dynamo” of Ukraine in Kiev.

Dmytro Shvets stressed that university staff will continue to do everything necessary for the quality training of future police officers and strengthening the university's sports base.

Serhii Bortnyk, Chairman of the NGO “Univer-Dynamo”, summed up the organization's activities in 2021 and noted the high professional level of lecturers and coaches of university, who do everything necessary for quality training of athletes.

Anatolii Klochko congratulated university athletes on their high achievements, wished them new victories and stressed that university has a strong sports base and its work will continue in the future.

The Deputy Chairman of the Board of NGO “Univer-Dynamo”, Dean of the Faculty № 3 Lieutenant Colonel Oleksandr Morhunov congratulated the athletes on their high achievements and thanked university management for the development and great support of sports, without which numerous victories of university athletes would be impossible.

The solemn events ended with the awarding of athletes, coaches, lecturers and employees of structural units of university with honorary awards and diplomas for high achievements and assistance in the development of sports.
