An online meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Legal Support of Economic Activity of the Faculty No. 6, dedicated to the 26th anniversary of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was held. The meeting was attended by students - members of the scientific circle of the Department, Head of the Department - Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor Olha Hetmanets, Head of the scientific circle - Professor Yuliia Kyrychenko, Associate Professors Viktoriia Fursa, Valentyna Zhornokui, Daria Korobtsova, and Iryna Kyrieieva.

The Head of the Department Olha Hetmanets told about the historical stages of the university’s foundation, special attention was paid to the history of creation and development of the Department of Legal Support of Economic Activity, disciplines that are taught at the Department and the scientific interests of the Lecturers were outlined.

The Head of the scientific circle Yuliia Kyrychenko emphasized the importance of students’ participation in research work of the Department and its role in their further professional activity, and noted that students' scientific work should reflect current trends in legal and economic sciences, meet modern requirements and use domestic and foreign achievements of scientific researches.

Also, a report made by Master's student Vira Skrynnik on “Classification of criminal liability for violations of land legislation”, which aroused great interest and was recommended for participation in the International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference “Criminal law and criminological aspects of crime-fighting” (Odesa City) was heard at the meeting.
