In cooperation with the Policing Institute for the Eastern Region (PIER) and School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU, Cambridge campus, United Kingdom), Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with the Kharkiv Region Police Headquarters, launched a series of meetings with British and European police officers intitled "Policing in war time Ukraine: in conversation with Kharkiv police officers". The first meeting was moderated by Anna Markovska (Deputy Head School of Humanities and Social Sciences, ARU). Guest speakers in attendance: Aleksey Serdyuk (Head of the Research Laboratory for Psychological Support of Law Enforcement, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs), Rodion Kalinin and Oleksandr Denisov, (Chief Inspectors of the Kharkiv Region Police Headquarters). The meeting was attended by police officers, heads of operational, educational and scientific police units, and representatives of international organisations cooperating with Ukraine. From the very first days of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, Kharkiv police has served with dignity and represented our country at international events that bring together law enforcement officers from different countries. These events aimed to share experience and implement world-leading practices in practical policing techniques within Ukraine.
