The Horizon Europe Program Committee "Civilian Security for Society" is one of the committees operating within the framework of the European Union's Horizon Europe program (Brussels, Belgium). The committee is responsible for developing and implementing research and innovation in the field of civilian security to protect society from various threats.

The main tasks of the committee: development of new technologies and innovative approaches in the field of civil security; support for research aimed at increasing society's resilience to various types of threats; promotion of international cooperation in the field of civil security; dissemination of knowledge and skills among the public, governments and other stakeholders on crisis prevention and response.

In addition, Horizon Europe's Civilian Security for Society program committee helps create an enabling environment for innovation in the field of improving the safety and security of the global community.
