Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty № 1 Yuliia Zahumenna conducted classes for participants of the School of Scientific Leadership of the Faculty № 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The discussion was devoted to topical issues and prospects of the research activities of cadets.

Yuliia Zahumenna told about the scientific circle of the department on topical issues of theory and history of state and law, her experience, and recent achievements as a scientific supervisor of cadets who have won various competitions. Among them: First place at the XIX International Speech Contest "Cicero", which took place at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus; First place in the nomination "Theory and History of State and Law, History of Political and Legal Doctrines, Philosophy of Law" of the Competition of scientific works of applicants for the first (bachelor's) level of higher education of higher educational institutions related to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine; Third place in the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in the specialty “Theory and History of State and Law; History of Political and Legal Doctrines, Philosophy of Law" in 2019 and 2020; Second place in the competition of creative works (essays) on "Sustainable Development Goals", which was held with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Ukraine.

At the end of the meeting, Yuliia Zahumenna thanked those present for their active participation in the event and wished them success in further scientific work.
