10-th International scientific-practical conference “Legal guarantees of ensuring the citizens’ rights for work and social protection” was held online on the Zoom platform, which was organized by the Department of Labor Law of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University.

More than 150 scientists took part in the conference. Schools of Labor Law and Social Security Right were presented by the scientists from The Belarusian State University, The Belarus State Economic University, Тomsk State University, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, The National University "Odesa Law Academy", Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, etc.

Anatolii Hetman the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor began the conference and on behalf of the Home-administration of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University congratulated the scientists and expressed hope to find out problematic issues, through joint effort of the conference participants, and offer scientific and practical recommendations in the sphere of improvement of Ukrainian labor and social security legislation, taking into account international experience.

Oleh Yaroshenko the Head of the Department of Labor Law of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, a corresponding member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor congratulated participants and wished successful work.

The Reports were presented by Halina Chanysheva Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Social Law of the National University “Odesa Law Academy” – “The content of collective agreements and acts of social dialogues”; Mykola Inshyn Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Head of the Department of Labor Law and Social Security Law of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv– “The meaning of legal awareness in the mechanism of realization of workers' rights for rest in Ukraine: theoretical and legal aspects”; Svitlana Synchuk Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor of the Department of Social Law of Ivan Franko
National University of Lviv– “Legal support of social maintenance services during inclusive teaching”; Kostiantyn Melnyk Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Labor and Economic Law of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs – “Distinct problems of legislative proposals for improvement of the recruitment to the National Police of Ukraine and raising the social protection of police officers and their families” and other leading scholars.

The speakers considered issues regarding the development of state legal doctrine of labor legislation as one of the leading branches of national law; development of legislation on the implementation of rights in the sphere of labor and social security; codification of social security legislation etc. Heated discussions revolved around these and other issues.
