Valerii Sokurenko, Head of the Headquarters of the National Police in Kharkiv Region, General of Police of the Third Rank; Oleksandr Bakumov, People's Deputy of Ukraine, Member of the Supervisory Board of KhNUIA and Oleksandr Petryshyn, President of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine took part in the extended meeting of the Academic Council, which was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
At the beginning of the meeting Valerii Sokurenko, Head of the Headquarters of the National Police in Kharkiv Region, awarded a Certificate of Honour of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration to Dmytro Shvets, Rector of the University.
Oleksandr Petryshyn, President of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, awarded a Diploma and a Medal “People's honor to Ukrainian scientists 1918-2018” to Serhii Husarov, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine.
Oleksii Lytvynov, Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty № 1, who won the Competition named after Academician Volodymyr Stashys in the nomination “The best organizer in the field of science of the criminal law cycle” was awarded.
The employees who were awarded the academic title and science degree were honored during the scientific meeting:
Dmytro Shvets, Rector of the University, Colonel of Police also presented awards to the University staff based on the results of the competition for the best scientific, scientific and technical and career guidance products in the Ministry of Internal Affairs apparatus, territorial bodies, institutions, establishments and enterprises, which belong to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in 2020.
