The first round of the competition of scientific works of applicants of the first (bachelor's) level of higher educational establishments belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the field of knowledge of “Social and Humanitarian Disciplines” is over.

After reviewing and analyzing the works submitted to the competition, the jury, headed by Volodymyr Hrechenko, the Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, determined the best one. It was the work of a student of the Faculty No. 6 Anastasiia Bohdan “Military prose in the
Ukrainian literary discourse after the Revolution of Dignity” (Supervisor is Nataliia Kobylko, the Candidate of Philological Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines). The relevance of the topic, its novelty, the depth of the problem were taken into account while determining the winner. The author devoted her research to the analysis of the artistic features of military prose, in particular the film story “Ukry” by Bohdan Zholdak and the novel “Ilovaisk” by Yevhen Polozhii. The work is recommended for participation in the next, republican round of the competition.
