A regular meeting of the Scientific Council of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs headed by the Rector of the University, Police General of the 3-rd rank Valerii Sokurenko, took place. Rectors of previous years Oleksandr Bandurka and Serhii Husarov, as well as First Vice-Rector Dmytro Shvets, Vice-Rectors of the University Serhii Bortnyk, Mykhailo Burdin, Leonid Mohilevskyi, and Anatolii Klochko, took part in the scientific meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, Valerii Sokurenko presented the Doctor of Philosophy diplomas in the 08"Law" field of knowledge in the specialty 081 "Law" to Oleksandr Denis, Iryna Klymiuk, and Andrii Novichenko.

According to the results of the All-Ukrainian competition for the best legal publication in 2021, which took place at Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, the following persons were awarded:

- Diploma of the first degree in the nomination "Educational publications" of the publication of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, namely: textbook "Administrative Law of Ukraine. The general part in the schemes", edited by Valerii Sokurenko. The diploma was presented by the First Vice-Rector of the university Dmytro Shvets;

- Diploma of the first degree in the nomination "Scientific publications" of the publication of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, namely: the monographic study "Administrative and legal principles of state regulation in the field of air transport in Ukraine", prepared by Oksana Brusakova;

- Diploma of the second degree in the nomination "Periodicals" scientific journal "Bulletin of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs" № 4 (86), 2020., editor Leonid Mohilevskyi;

- Diploma of the second degree in the nomination "Educational and methodical publications" of the publication of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, namely: Workbook for seminars and practical classes on the subject "Civil Procedure", prepared by Vakulovych E.V, Zhornokui Yu.M, Zaitsev O.L.

The badges "55 years of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs" were awarded to:

- Doctor of Law, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Oleksandr Bandurka;

- Vice-Rector, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Leonid Mohilevskyi;

- Vice-Rector, Doctor of Law, Professor Mykhailo Burdin;

- Vice-Rector, Doctor of Law, Professor Anatolii Klochko.

The Rector also presented awards based on the results of the second round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers 2020/2021 academic year in the specialty "Civil Security (Civil Defense)", which took place at the National University of Civil Defense of Ukraine:

third-degree Diplomas were awarded to:

- 4th-year cadet of the faculty № 2 Vladyslav Stepanenko;

- 4th-year cadet of the faculty №1 Anastasiia Shchokalo;

- 1st-year student of the faculty № 6 Anastasiia Sushkova and 2nd-year student Viktoriia Bylyienko.

According to the results of the second round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the specialty "Civil Safety (Labour Safety)", which took place at Kharkiv Automobile and Road University, a third-degree Diploma was awarded to a 4th-year cadet of the Faculty №2 Vladyslav Ivashchenko.

Associate Professor of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty №2, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Ihor Vlasenko was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for the preparation of the competition winner.

According to the results of the second round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the specialty "Theory and History of State and Law; history of political and legal doctrines; philosophy of law", the third-degree Diplomas were awarded to:

- 2nd-year cadet of the faculty № 1 Olena Yelisieieva;

- 1st-year student of the faculty № 6 Anastasiia Sushkova.

Viktor Lazariev, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty №1, and Ihor Pohribnoi, Professor of the Department of Fundamental and Legal Sciences of the Faculty №6, were awarded the Certificate of Appreciation for the preparation of the winners in the competition.

For winning the annual debate tournament for the "Rector's Cup", which was held among cadets and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the "Rector's Cup" was awarded to the team of the faculty № 4.

Presenting the awards, the Rector of the University wished to move forward to new achievements and victories.

The event was held in compliance with all quarantine requirements.
