The scientific research of the staff of the Department is aimed at solving both general theoretical issues of the relevant branches of law and issues related to the activities of the police and law enforcement. Currently, the staff of the Department works in the following areas:
The department was established in May 1992, initially as a department of legal foundations of entrepreneurial activity, which taught: legal foundations of entrepreneurial activity, international private law, cooperative, financial, banking and tax law. The department provides training for students, master's and postgraduate students. The staff of the department has developed the latest educational complexes of disciplines taking into account modern teaching methods, prepared and printed a large number of scientific and methodical works. During the department's existence, more than fifty candidate and doctoral theses were defended under the scientific guidance of professors and associate professors.
