The Department of Education Quality Assurance is a structural unit of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs (hereinafter - the University), which performs the functions of coordination, monitoring, control over the quality of educational activities and the quality of education at the University.
In its activities, the Department of Education Quality Assurance is guided by the norms of the Constitution of Ukraine, the laws “On Education”, “On Higher Education”, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Approval of Licensing Conditions for Educational Activities”, other laws and bylaws of Ukraine; recommendations of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, the Regulations on Accreditation of Educational Programs for Higher Education, the Statute of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Regulations on Academic Integrity in KhNUIA and other regulations on the quality of education.
The Department carries out its activities in the prescribed manner, in accordance with the tasks and functions assigned to it, in cooperation with other structural units of the University.
The main tasks of the Department of Education Quality Assurance are:
Organization and functioning of the system of quality assurance of educational activities at the University.
Defining and implementing the principles and procedures of the system of internal quality assurance of educational activities and quality of education by developing, updating, publishing regulatory documents.
Monitoring and periodic review of the educational programs used to train higher education students.
Support of licensing and accreditation cases in the Ministry of Science and Education of Ukraine, the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance.
Organization of the work of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the University.
Control over the quality of educational and methodological support of the educational process.
Planning, organizing and controlling the work on advanced training and internships of the University's academic staff, developing proposals to improve the efficiency of this work.
Monitoring the learning outcomes of higher education students.
Organizing and conducting rating evaluation of the activities of the academic staff of the University.
Organizing and conducting stakeholder surveys on the functioning of the quality assurance system of educational activities and the quality of education at the University.
Monitoring the compliance of the University's academic staff with the staffing requirements for the launch and implementation of educational activities at the level of higher education and educational programs of the Licensing Conditions for the Conduct of Educational Activities.
Development and implementation of educational projects aimed at forming and developing a culture of quality education at the University.
Ensuring compliance with academic integrity by all participants in the educational process.
