Students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs together with lecturers of the Department of Legal Support of Economic Activity of the Faculty № 6 candidates of jurisprudence associate professors Daria Korobtsova, Yevheniia Ananieva, Iryna Kyrieieva, Artem Dobrovinskyi took part in the online training "Parliamentary Civic Education".

During the lecture, speakers told about the structure and functions of the Verkhovna Rada, the peculiarities of the work of the deputies and the powers of people's deputies, the principles of democracy and the principles of parliamentarism, the activities of the Verkhovna Rada Education Center in the regions and promoting civic parliamentary education. Innovative means of communicating knowledge and methods of organizing parliamentary civic education in the districts were proposed.

The purpose of the training is to raise students' awareness of the structure and functions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and to promote the formation of civic competencies in youth.

The lecturers of the training were the People's Deputies of Ukraine.
