In the practical shooting tournament "Cup of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine" among higher education institutions belonging to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a third-year cadet of the Faculty No. 2 (Criminal Police) of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Serhii Cherkaskyi became the best shooter among the variable staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Seven teams took part in the tournament: Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, Luhansk State University of Internal Affairs named after E.O. Didorenko, Lviv State University of Internal Affairs, National Academy of Internal Affairs (Kyiv), Odessa State University of Internal Affairs, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

The event was organized by: the Department of Vocational Education and Science of the Personnel Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the All-Ukrainian Federation of Practical and High-Precision Shooting, the National Academy of Internal Affairs. The competition was held on the basis of the National Academy of Internal Affairs (Kyiv).
