The monograph is devoted to an in-depth criminological analysis of the current criminogenic situation in Ukraine, which is considered as an information model for developing a strategy to reduce the chances of committing crimes. The main features of the strategy of crime reduction are highlighted, its concepts are formulated and the main directions are considered. The results of an empirical study on the state of implementation of the strategy to reduce the possibility of committing crimes in the activities of the National Police are presented, prospects for the use of modern foreign practice in the application of this strategy are outlined.
