Employees of the Research Laboratory on the Issues of Information Technologies Development of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part online in the first part of a two-day regional conference held in Kyiv with the participation of experts from the United States and Ukraine.

The first day of discussions is focused on current trends in cybersecurity research, the government's approach to research, and the vision of the private industry.

Issues related to gender diversity, which is crucial for science, the current state of gender balance in cyber research, and opportunities for its improvement were also addressed. The promotion of research through partnerships with the private sector was also discussed.
