The Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Kharkiv Piotr Stachańczyk, Vice Consuls Barbara Kaczmarczyk and Michał Banaś paid a working visit to Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. They met with the First Vice-Rector of the University Dmytro Shvets and discussed issues of further cooperation. The guests got acquainted with the material and technical and educational base of the university - visited the Center of Ukrainian - Polish Development, Center of Correctional and Psychodiagnostics activities, got acquainted with the training ground "Police Department", situational tactical range, Training Center for Combating Cybercrime and Cyberspace Monitoring, tactical town "Crossroads", Language Center, visited the classrooms and multifunctional complex "Dynamo-Arena".
The Consul General noted: “During my professional career, I have visited various countries, visited many educational institutions where police officers are trained. I have something to compare. I am impressed by the capabilities of Kharkiv Police University, its material, technical and educational base."
Dmytro Shvets stressed that “cooperation with Polish colleagues is extremely important for us. It is gratifying that such a distinguished delegation highly appreciates our work on building the university and thorough approaches to the training and education of new police officers. "
Mykola Pakhnin, Director of Ukrainian-Polish Center, Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology at the University, stressed that “the visit of the Polish delegation is an example of friendly cooperation and partnership with Polish colleagues. They will continue to evolve and benefit each other. "
