The Training Center of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv region hosted competitions for the Cup of Kharkiv regional organization of sports society "Dynamo" and MD NP in the Kharkiv region in shooting from combat weapons (pistol) in memory of S.P. Karpenko.

The competition was attended by teams from various bodies and departments of the security and protection sector of Kharkiv region, including the team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. According to the results of the competition, the representatives of the university took the second team place. In the personal championship, the winners were an associate professor of the firearms training department of the faculty № 3 Maksym Vladymyrov (I place) and a cadet of the 3rd year of the faculty № 2 police corporal Serhii Cherkaskyi (III place). They were awarded diplomas, medals, and valuable gifts.
