Employees of the Research Laboratory for Information Technology Development of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in a scientific event - the 6th meeting of the 6th National Cybersecurity Cluster Meeting with the participation of US and Ukrainian experts.
The National Cyber Security Cluster is a continuation of the tripartite cooperation between the National Security and Defense Council, the US State Department, and the US CRDF and is designed to strengthen Ukraine's position in cybersecurity and strengthen the effectiveness of all initiatives in the security cyberspace.
Cluster meetings are planned to be held monthly, with the organization of the final Summit every six months. The program activities include the exchange of information on existing and emerging cyber threats, presentations of best practices, speeches by invited experts and experts, and the development of public-private partnerships.
The conference addressed issues of cybersecurity, biosafety, state protection. The presentation of a comprehensive system of information resources protection in the National Grid Infrastructure of Ukraine was held. The issues of the need to strengthen the regulatory and legal restrictions on access and control of information exports of the results of scientific research of medical and biological nature, which fall under the category of dual-use, were discussed.
