Oleksii Serdyuk, Deputy Head of the Research Laboratory for Combating Crime from Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in a press conference on the image of Ukrainian cities: Kharkiv is changing at the Interfax-Ukraine news agency. The event presented the results of sociological research "On the city of Kharkiv and Kharkiv residents" and "Security and Trust", related to the perception of the city of Kharkiv, an important component of which is security.
According to the scientist, the monitoring study "Security and Trust" has been implemented since 2013 by Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs (Research Laboratory for Combating Crime) together with the Sociological Association of Ukraine and the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kharkiv region with the support of the European Union Advisory Mission within the framework of the complex regional Program of ensuring public safety and order and counteracting crime in the territory of Kharkiv region.
According to the results of the monitoring study "Security and Trust", Kharkiv is considered the safest city to live.
