Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted the grand opening of the camp gathering of freshmen. The camp gathering was opened by Valerii Sokurenko, the Rector of the university, General of Police of the third rank.
Addressing the cadets, he said: “Our university has all the conditions for you to become a real police officer. I am convinced that the rights and freedoms of citizens, the interests of the state and society will be a guide for you in future service.
The event was also attended by the head of the camp, Vice-rector, police colonel Serhii Bortnyk and a Vice-rector Anatolii Klochko. They congratulated the young men and women on entering the University and starting the camp, wished persistence in mastering knowledge and skills, called to be organized, adhere to discipline to
overcome all challenges and prove that they did not make a mistake in choosing a future profession.
