Deputy Head of the Research Laboratory for Combating Crime of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel of Police Oleksii Serdyuk took part in the 21st colloquium on cross-border crime "Cross-border Crime: how global can it be?". The event was hosted by the Police College of Kongsvinger University (Norway) this year. Due to restrictions connected to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event took place in an online format.
The cooperation of KhNUIA scientists with the organizing committee of the colloquium has been going on for ten years. Every year a colloquium takes place at
a new European university. In 2018, the colloquium was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, which significantly contributed to the development
of international relations between Ukrainian and foreign scholars, who noted our high professional level. The result was the publication of the collection of Kharkiv
Colloquium abroad in the publishing house Eleven International Publishing together with the publishing house of KhNUIA. Professors of the leading universities of Europe from among the participants of the colloquium were included in the editorial board of scientific journals of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
